Prof. Dr. Gerlinde Groitl’s research focuses on the United States, German, European and transatlantic defense policy, and the global great-power competition between Russia, China and the West. Her most recent of three monographs to date analyzes Russia’s and China’s revisionism against the liberal international order. She teaches at the University of Regensburg and heads the ISS Institute for Security and Strategy in Munich.
