Drew Christiansen, a Jesuit priest, is Distinguished Professor of Ethics and Global Human Development at Georgetown University and a Senior Fellow at the university’s Berkley Center for Religion, Ethics and World Affairs. Since 2013, he has worked directly with the Holy See on nuclear disarmament and was a member of the delegation at the UN conference that negotiated The Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons in 2017. He is editor with Carole Sargent of “A World without Nuclear Weapons” (forthcoming) and has been serving as an editor and contributor to various scholarly journals.
